Any one watching this one this year?

Last time i went out there was a decent crash, rain, and good food, but that's not the racing part...

Doing some support for BMW this year, although we do have 3 guys out there doing support for our other customers.

In line with N24 and LM24, this looks like it's going to be another 24h affected by poor weather - weather forecasts for Sunday morning are going downhill rapidly.
This years Nurburgring 24 hour (of red flag) was one of my biggest racing disappointments in recent memory. Watching a foggy racetrack for hours with no cars on it, was nearly as boring as this year's Monaco F1 race. If it's looking like will be catastrophic rain this weekend, then I'll give it a miss.

I'll certainly be following it. However, yeah weather reports looking a bit sketch. Pretty much rain from around lunchtime on Saturday all the way to Sunday morning, some of it looking to be quite heavy especially Sunday. Should make for interesting racing if the brave it out. However, I foresee lots of interruptions.

At least it'll be quiet for me if they red flag it, there's some beds in the back of the BMW lounge, might be able to get my head down rather than running around, not sure how loud the snoring will be at the mo though with this sinus infection lol

Its coming!!! Should have a spell of lighter rain coming in very shortly, which will just be a precursor to the main event:eek:

Anyone know the reason for this FCY? Not sure whether I missed it but it’s always concerning when the commentators aren’t talking about it (But then it is John Watson who barely seems to be aware there’s a race happening)
