The game had lots of lag spikes for me, and at one stage got stuck at what looked like sub 10 fps. I just called it quits on my second try and left it.

The fact that there isn't any music or environment sounds to create an atmosphere is also a huge negative. Besides the bit of vocals, and sound effects the game was dead silent almost.
 
Um....just about I'd say. I played through about 6 of the missions, and it was enjoyable enough, but there's something missing, it all works but there's no extra effort put in to make it shine.
 
Bought this in the steam sale.

Maybe I don't have the necessary thought patterns for this game, but damn it's tough!

Is there a guide on the attributes of each Terminator?
I just got a Sergent with a Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, thought he'd kick some ass! Died to the 1st Genestealer he met... :eek:
 
I've found judicious use of overwatch, remembering to leave a couple CPs to clear bolter jams on 'stealer turns and also sometimes you just can't save 'em all helps :p

Plus sometimes you'll just get unlucky and have to restart which is fairly frustrating :p
 
Rock Paper Shotgun savaged the Ascension edition when it came out, lots of camera issues and annoyances iirc. Not sure if it's been patched since.
