Space Hulk!

Is the entire game just playing as Terminators on a ship? if so seems a bit limited, especially for £23.. I can only see it being fun for a month or so if that's the case, but i'm a freak of warhammer games so i'd probably end up getting it anyway.
 
I'm not sure what the problem is, really. It's a digital recreation of the board game, and doesn't appear to be promising anything else. That's good enough in my book!
 
I had the fps Space Hulk for pc back in the day. Absolutely unplayable difficulty curve that was totally obscene. I still plowed dozens upon dozens of hours into it though getting absolutely nowhere in the process.

This boardgame style version looks cool though.

For an independent game I would have expected around £15, especially as we know there will be expansions to the game if it is successful.

It doesn't seem that much different to Warhammer Quest on the Ipad (except for the 3d aspect), and that was £4!
 
It releases today, in about an hour actually! I'm not buying yet, waiting to see if it goes on offer because £23 for a "maybe" game is too much...will have to see how much it is in the Apple store too.

Same thoughts here. The pre-order bonus isn't anything too special so I'll wait and see.

does look good though!

I heard a massive chunk of its cost is to cover the license fee. Space Hulk is still pretty popular but Warhammer Quest has been dead for well over a decade.

I didn't realise it was actually out !! so little news and footage, doesn't bode well. Anyone bought it ? first impressions ? instant buy ?

Colour me surprised, this is actually getting some positive reactions. I was thinking it was looking pretty ropey, but I guess if you can just follow the formula of the tabletop game, it must be pretty hard to mess up.
