Spam is good.

I find it amazing how expensive spam is. I thought it was supposed to be a cheap "meat" substitute yet it's over £3 a can?

Corned beef is expensive too, what gives?
Everyone started buying the cheap stuff, so they've put the price up.

I like spam in noodle soup, the spicy type of soup, really helps make it into a hearty meal :)

Ooo spam and Nongshim would make a good combination
Budae Jjigae (Korean army stew).

Bourdain cooking it (lol at the whole episode give it a watch); https://youtu.be/X_jPJ4kaVEU?t=837

It's pretty damn good. Now if only my other half liked kimchi or spam :p

EDIT: Kimchi fried rice with spam is pretty damn amazing too. But as above, it's cheaper to get some proper meat in there now

It's worth checking any chippies nearby you - Mine does them and they're just as good as I remember them from when I was at school.
AFAIK only one of the chippies in our town does them (or did, i haven't been for a while*), and they were fabulous, incredibly unhealthy but god tier chippy food.

I've got a load of cans of spam in the cupboard that I need to use up but not had a chance to do, including bacon spam:)

*They changed ownership, but before that if I, or my brother walked in they'd go "two spam fritters?" and put them straight in before they took the rest of the order as they only cooked them on demand (unlike fish which they'd always have some going at busy times).
