Spam is good.

the section of my local Morrisons that used to have Spam Fritters/Bacon Grills etc has now been replaced with plant absed/ 'I can't believe it's sausage' etc. money talks?

I find it amazing how expensive spam is. I thought it was supposed to be a cheap "meat" substitute yet it's over £3 a can?

Corned beef is expensive too, what gives?
Next you will be telling me you cannot get a Fray Bentos Pie for a pound anymore..

Last lot of spam I had was fried in a sandwhich, home made coleslaw and a bit of sriarcha, lovely.

My family had the vomiting and sickness bug, I was fine. 2 hours after I ate it, I was not fine :(

Somehow managed not to throw up but slept all night felt like a had a fire in my stomach constantly regurgitating spam into the back of my throat.

So thats kinda put me off it.

I also once ate a tin of spam that had been in the boot of a car for about 3 years, if you think of the temperature ranges it would have undergone -5C to 35C? Anyway it was fine.

Corned beef Well Sainsbury's themselves used to do nice Brazilian corned beef had some texture great in hash / sandwiches, used it for years,
new supplier, now Polish corned beef - who knew - but has the texture of rubber, so will be looking for a new supplier, and refund.
only plus , a new tin design with thinner metal and the weld is much thinner so the unboxing doesn't leave the key caught on the two pieces.

on animal husbandry - imagining that the Brazilian cows are running around the pampas but probably not
interesting bbc podcast this am , which just confirmed that red tractor is a poor standard, indoor pigs
The pigs must also have permanent access to environmental enrichment to keep them stimulated. This can include straw, hay, wood, sawdust and objects such as natural rope and suspended chew toys
vs rspca Additional enrichment may take the form of additional straw, straw bales, ‘toys’ such as footballs etc.
along with other difference for living space, farrowing. - as the program said supermarkets need to publish standards their meet has.

I thought most corned beef came from Argentina or am I just well out of date?
