Yep. You need to pass that finish line with 1second to spare and hook it up.
That's one thing to say with these tyres, with people running less track improves massively over the qauli sessions.

This isn't a dirty track, and it's been run all morning, so it's not going to improve much.

The weather and wind direction is likely to be more of an issue.

I wonder if JB couldn't switch it on because of tyre temps due to his new brakes?

Maybe they suit LH but not JB. Could they run a different type of brake system on the two cars?

They could go out and blitz a lap early and it's genius for getting in a banker or they could trundle round like now and it's genius for saving tires.

Happens every race weekend.

Aye. We should be happy that the teams are making a mockery of the rules, as it means it will probably be scrapped for next year.

There ought to be a rule that they have to be within 105% of their P2 time or else start behind the P2 guys. Unless they have a legitimate technical issue.
