I find it quite funny that in endurance racing they have the green challenge for the team that uses the least fuel/tyres.

In F1, we're deliberately producing tyres that dissolve...

10 second stop and go penalty for Hulkenberg - unsafe release.

Considering he's already had to pit again for a new nose, it's not really that much of a penalty.

People need to remember this is what Pirelli were told to do. Mostly by the teams and the governing body. It's not Pirelli's fault they fulfilled the brief.

Another delamination! That's more of a problem than the tyres not lasting very long, it's downright dangerous.

Not really, you can't drive these cars fast enough to be dangerous on these tyres.

As mentioned above, Pirelli just make them fragile at the FIA's request, but this is just daft. Surely it's not good publicity for Pirelli if they just go pop.
