don't get me wrong its great to see Hamilton on pole and winning which I believe he deserves, but its been what, 3/4 races now and the level dominance is just setting a precedent for the rest of the season... I mean after only 4 races Merc are triple the number of points clear of the next rival....
I really hope to be proven wrong today and that race pace will be different for most cars who brought upgrades etc... but when the Mercs are a second clear/lap.... its just a shame for the fans of the spectacle.
My only hope is that Rosberg gives Hamilton a fight e.g. Bahrain. That was a cracker.

Nope, as I like f1, you seemingly don't. Most seasons are dominated. You want a series all about driver and close racing, f1 is not for you.

It has been said time again this season that red bull et al will probably close the gap as the season pans out, even Lewis said there is the threat of this.

I understand but at least this year Nico and Lewis are allowed to fight for the championship. In previous years when Red Bull dominated there was never any real threat to Vettel from Webber.

Yes on one hand Merc have more in hand this year than Red Bull ever had but at least you've got 2 drivers who are allowed to fight at the front and there doesn't seem to be any behind the scenes shenanigans (at least at the moment!) turning the drivers title fight into a procession. Suspect though that Lewis will do that on his own eventually as he's pretty much got Rosbergs number.
Between Webber not being good enough and when he was competing usually getting screwed over made the Vettel processions worse.

Whatabout 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 (how can anyone forget this one), 2009, 2010, 2012, were all pretty close (I didn't even bother looking into the 1900s).
This season thusfar as has been entertaining in terms of racing spectacle which is absolutely great, but one would wish that the fight could be upfront.
The last few races, Hamilton has had the better of Rosberg, I just hope he doesn't run away with it (not because I don't want him to win, but because I want to see this season go down to the wire).
Sorry CP I don't always post in the F1 threads as they just seem to become a wall of text in some instances
And I end up missing the relevant post!
