Spanish Grand Prix 2014, Catalunya - Race 5/19

Hamilton is out qualifying and driving in clean air. All there is between them. If anything I've been more impressed with rosbergs race craft and start.

Really? Last 4 years people have said races would be better without RB dominating and now it's a different constructor dominating it's in some way different?

I think he meant that in a couple of races this year the only real excitement has come from the racing up from between the two Mercedes. Without that, there would be even less going on.

Redbull at the front in general was boring though, very little racing it was just all Vettel, at least this Mercedes racing is exciting. Plus it's not even half a season of Merc at the front it's way too early for it to get boring yet.

Maybe if Mercedes are this far ahead next year too then we can start to get bored of it, for now it's just refreshing seeing people other than Vettel on the podium.

I think it goes to show just how damaging RBR's multi21/multi12 team orders were to the races. We saw today how a team mate can challenge at the end of a race if given the right circumstances, alternate strategy and a full race distance to challenge. If there were team orders to insist on a hold position situation after the first round of pit stops, Rosberg would have had no chance to compete either here or in Bahrain, and the races wouldn't have been half as interesting as a result.

Bit of a HMMM race but I'm glad Lewis finished on top. But why they brought him in early I'd love to know and he lost 2 seconds at the pit stops.

Superb drive from Hamilton today, especially as it seemed like Rosberg had the slightly better car near the end of the race. Had my fingers crossed that he would win and he did, very close race though.

As for Vettel??, not that i really give a flying toss for that **** but he had a good race to get himself into 4th...disappointed that both Raikonnen and Boltas couldnt keep him at bay but at least he didnt get a podium

Enjoying the F1 series this year, lot more closer than in previous seasons and hopefully Hamilton can get another win at Monaco.

Bit of early schedule info about Monaco for anyone interested.
