Well its aluminium for a start so you can kind of ignore the usual body work prices!

No easy weld-ins when you dent 4mm thick sill extrustions.

My godmother put a big dent in the rear quarter of her Audi A5 cab. She went to Audi and they said because its aluminium it had to be replaced.

I didn't know they could panel beat aluminium. It also sounded like they wanted to replace the whole rear quarter panel.

£1500 sounds about right for that - she's creased it along the swage line which will be difficult to remove properly - I'd be tempted to source a door and have it painted.
