Sparky's new job?

I guess youve never been through the McLaren hall at Donnington then? :D

Out of interest Sparky, how many tubs do Red bull make per year? I know its possible to go the whole season with just one per driver but im wondering just how rare an RB7 really is.

Between 4 and 6 usually.

:eek::eek::eek:

I take that comment back then!

Between 4 and 6 usually.

With the ban on spare cars, the reliability, and the cost of producing modern tubs, is this more or less than team were making say 10 or 20 years ago?

Edit: There were only 6 McLaren MP4/4's made for the 1988 season, so it seems about the same?

Gutted I missed this! Mate said his entire office (above the station) came in to watch. The videos look awesome of good old MK in the winter with something really cool

I'd love to see something like this, but its too far to travel for me :(

Looks great!

same :(

arrows had a car at an orange sponsored event once near me that my wife went to, sunderland airshow maybe? but it was never anounced in advance they were going to be there.
just the car on display though no driving

Mercedes did an event called "Powered by Mercedes Benz Live" at Mercedes Benz world at the end of the 2009 season. It was great. McLarens and Brawns and Force Indias, plus DTM cars and a load of the AMG road cars all out on their little handling track. Had Lewis Hammilton doing donuts no more than 10 meters from me :D

The BMW Pitlane Park was also a great thing they did for a while at European races where you could get up close (and in my case, right next to sticking cameras in the footwell) of F1 cars and Formula BMW cars.

Its a shame that with the secretive nature of F1 these sort of 'fan focused' events are rare. Good to see RBR bucking the trend though :)

They did. I missed it too.

Same, I live 2 minutes away from where it was.

I remember my wife saying oh look at those planes.. not even thinking what was going on..

2 wks later the guy that cuts my hair brought it up (he's a huge f1 fan)

EVEN worse (dun dun dunnnn)

I tell my wife about it and she says "yeah I knew that" - and she knows I'm a big F1 fan!!!

I've been through MK a couple of times whilst going to trackdays at Bedford.

SO

MANY

ROUNDABOUTS

So, many chances to leave! ;)
