Spartacus Vengence

Meh, I'd rather just wait till the Monday and Sky+ it or catch it on Anytime. Getting it 2-3 days earlier seems a lot of effort just to score cool points IMHO :p

It's not really a lot of effort but it's not like we can talk about it here.

Hardly trying to score cool points. Just why would I want to wait when I can watch it now?

Episode like that, I would have half imagined being the final episode.... not at the beginning.

Edit just checked.... some bad news I guess, its not exactly at the beginning more like over half way, we got 5 more episodes left :(

good news though Season 3 started to get produced early this year, so looks like there doing 10 episode seasons, I think the 1st 2 were same anyhow :)

Hmm.....enjoying it, but Asher is a nob and he was never a true gladiator, didn't have much skill either. Yet he saved Anamaeus in the pits by flinging a knife into that dudes gob?
Just a little unbelievable really. He was a fag in the other 2 series. So for him to get so much tougher? not convinced.

Still want to know where his limp's gone too. Best episode by far last night, lets hope they keep it up for the rest of the series, and the new Spartacus gets weight training before the next series starts filming.

He was wearing a brace on his leg, it was removed near the end of season one.

1) Ashur looks incredibly gay now. 2) He's become a right bad ass! 3) His Egyptian mate seems like a nasty man

I know, can't imagine that would stop the limp though. Crixus back to whining like a girl again.

Yeah he's starting to annoy me now. Navia is just an annoying character too, constantly complaining and stuff, shut up and let them get on with owning Romans, biatch!

I think the first two series of Spartacus were great, but this series is getting a bit silly. Firstly, they're sticking to the gladiatorial combat formula that served them well in series one and two but it doesn't really work post rebellion. The Romans weren't stupid, they'd have realised that fighting gladiators one on one would have been suicide for their soldiers.

Secondly, linked to my first point I guess, is that Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus and Enamaeus are all supposed to have been Gods of the Arena, yet Asher can simply go out and find a group of men who presumably supposed to be the equal of these men in one-on-one combat.
