Spec £1000-£1500 Please

I think its a 19" or 20" So not even sure he wants to change. I don't think he does, but am going to check.

Hi MarkLP, I have done a specification that includes a monitor if needed and is well within budget. If you have any questions with regards to any of the components I have chosen, feel free to ask. :)

Thanks for the spec, he has said he does not want a monitor :)

Looking at reviews of the Noctua it is apparently terrible to install.

So looking around the Thermaltake BigTyp 120 VX CPU Cooler is ment to be very good and quiet. Can anyone back this up?

Thanks

Hi MarkLP, ah ok.

Looking at reviews of the Noctua it is apparently terrible to install.

Having had the Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler for quite a while now and also having removed it a number of times, I would completely disagree with the above. :p

It is actually fairly simple to install. You first have to remove the motherboard to fix the backplate which is standard on most heavyweight CPU Coolers anyway. The backplate itself has its own fixings. Once you have attached the backplate to the motherboard, you then pop the actual heatsink onto the fixings which is just as simple as matching the two holes up either side of the heatsink to the holes of the brackets. The installing of the actual heatsink is honestly extremely straight forward, it's attaching the fans that can be quite fiddly but as long as you take your time, it can be done.

It honestly isn't too much bother and I would highly recomend the Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler.

Ah Ok then Will order this system up soon.

Any last things I should order or add? Even if they're personal things you would buy, might be a good idea for him aswell :)
