spec help

Not that'd be worth recommending. Are you sure there are no smaller ATX cases you'd like? They're not all massive.
 
So by looking at that then comes into my mind of two options for the build if i'm correct.

First one is to go with a Corsair 350D along with Intel processor and micro ATX which will outpast my budget?

OR

to go with a midi tower and ATX board with AMD3 processor which will be slightly cheaper?

hmm I need to start measuring my desk space before chossing either one then..


Which would you go for?

if it were me id scrape some more pennies together and get an Intel 350d build. (I'll spec you one soon).

The insides are important but if you spend £600 on a pc you think looks butt ugly you'll just be kicking yourself. Or I would anyway.

It is a shame AMD are so useless wirh there motherboards.

That's it yes. You can use an AMD APU in the micro-atx case, but if you're intending to get a good discrete card immediately, it makes less sense. If you go with Intel, you'll need to get an i5 for some newer games to be playable.

There may be cheaper cases than that ATX case I linked to, it was just one that looked quite small me so I looked at the dimensions. (That compact Corsair ATX case is also smaller than the 350D)

I forgot to mention that I will be adding my wireless card to card in that case aswel. Is that graphics card any good Doom? Or shall I go for something bit more decent?

Looks good..

Personally im not a fan of Asrock boards but they are very well reviewed.

Modular PSU is a good idea. :)

If you can stretch your budget another £5 get the 3570k retail version. This means you can run it on the stock cooler until the H100 turns up. :)

You see the one you suggested earlier on; MSI motherboard , does that support x5 fans?

I will need 5 in total, that is 2 in the front, one at the back and two at the top of the PC case but then I'm going for H100 for the top. So i will need the three fans to be connected to the board?

That MSI motherboard has 3 fans (3-pin) connectors on the board.

You can use this connector to run two fans from each: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-009-CT&groupid=1929&catid=153

You can always run them off the PSU..

It may be worth running the H100 ones off the motherboard though..

I did mention that I can stretch my budget to £700 hence i added gigabyte 7870 which is at £200. Is there a big difference between the two, MSI 7870 Black Knight and Gigabyte Windforce..
 
Don't get that 7870, it won't be any better than the MSI. If you can stretch to £200, get the 7950 with the game deal and sell the games off to get it back down to £200.
