bang 6 rashers in the pan which you have purchased from your local butcher, do not add oil
let them cook to your required level then add some oil and put in a piece of lightly toasted bread and fry nicely
take out rashers and put 3 on 2 slices of bread with ketchup add fried slice to centre and wallop!

Need to put some ready salted crisps in between the bread!
The best bacon based sandwich for me is actually a crumpet, halved, scramble an egg with a little Worcester sauce in a 4" wide circular template/cutter (whatever you call them) so it keeps the egg in shape, a slice of cheese melted over the egg and bacon with grilled tomato and crumbled black pudding on top.

I do that most of the time I make a sandwhich, I put a few crisps in there, and it tastes amazing.
