the 21st of this month does seem to get mentioned a lot for bioshock. but only a 2 day wait and see.
 
I was recommened vampire so i got hold of it for 4 quid.
My recommendation is Dreamfall, great story start to finish the last game I really enjoyed playing.
 
got all the star wars game on the breeze block xbox lol, love em :P

i remember playing the demo of quake 4, not played the full game

max payne 2 on xbox, one of my most fav console games ever :D

is it dx10? if so, you think it will run well?

Definately - V:TMBL is one of the most underrated games ever made in my opinion and a definate modern great. Funny and sleazy in all the right places too lol.

its so cheap now too.

Well IGN ran it maxed in Dx10 at 1920x1200 on a single 8800GTX, so yes.

I enjoyed the demo on the 360, but i really fail to see what is so great about it. Most of the game mechanics have been done in other games before. I would still put HL2 to be far superior to Bioshock. Im probably just expecting too much of games now that Crysis is coming out, but to me Bioshock is just another FPS.
 
Why not take a look at Dawn Of War, I picked up the complete pack for 20 quid a few months ago, simply a brilliant game!
 
Ignoring games people have already mentioned, I'd say Freespace 2, Command and Conquer the First Decade and Need for Speed: Porsche 2000
 
'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' wonderful fun...ID's WWII/zombie nonsense FPS - feels a bit old skool but can still look and play ace.

Features sexy nazi tight leather clad ladies - If that doesn't sell it nothing will :D

You dont read the blurb of a book and know for sure how you might feel after reading all of it. Bioshock apparently has some amazing storylines and plot twists.. it wouldnt be getting 90+% from all reviewers if it wasnt any good. It may still be an FPS, but its going to be a damn good one.
