Spec me a build

lol but you probably know more than me i just dont wanna order a loada stuff then find out it doesnt work my sytem
 
Can you stretch to a 1gb gtx460? Also is there anything in your current setup that you can reuse? Yes intel is doing a platform refresh early next year. But if you are willing to consider amd am3 setup the next gen amd chip is likely to work on am3.
 
For your budget probably an athlon2 x4 or a phenom2 x2, coupled with asus/gigabyte 880g mobo of some sort. Sorry using my phone at the mo so can't do a proper spec up. Just realised the 1gb version is quite a bit more expensive at 170 quid.

go with that, but instead of the case and psu,

buy the Xigamtek £28 case, and corsair CX400W PSU, then you can be sure you have a quality power supply.
