Bet you never saw this one coming ;)

Criteria:
- Budget £12K
- No older than 2008 ideally
- No preference to FWD or RWD tbh
- Less than 50K miles ideally
- Around 200BHP+
- Would like to go manual this time :D

Looked at a few hot hatches, Impreza WRX hatches, Leon Cupras etc.

Anything with one of these new fangled collision avoidance systems may be prudent?

:p

Think they made Perodua Kelisa's right upto 2008, i go for one of them, then spend afew k on driver training.

Edit: in all seriousness, we could all do with some extra training, i'd seriously consider it.

I think it would help a lot of us to narrow down the search if you could explain why you didn't like the Ibiza you had?

That criteria screams hot hatch, or coupé to me...

DSG got on my nerves and too much power for the chassis. peak torque at 1500rpm meant a lot of wheel spinning, which is useless.

I'm quite taken with the idea of a CW FN2 with LSD, as I drove a 2007 FN2 but it had no LSD and according to evo the LSD makes a big difference.

WRX Hatchback. You test drove one the weekend and you told me it pleasantly surprised you. Just get the brakes upgraded.

Already have! Done the IAM and roadcraft/track craft training before.
