Spec me a car thread

The CW FN2 is still my favourite.
STI hatches are still out of budget and I know a WRX wouldn't keep your attention long enough.
 
12k is a nice budget, for me it would have me considering the following random list:

Facelift Focus ST (some really nice low mileage ones for your budget, would want Mountune and I'd want to mod it...Bilsteins and an LSD a must as its a bit wallowy/understeery without it...not a great track car if thats what you have planned but a nice road car and plenty of character with the five pot up front...but depends whether you think its special enough for the money)

Older BMW 335i (I'd only want an M sport mind and I think you'd be getting pre facelift older cars here for the budget?)

S2000 (maybe not for you, twitchy and RWD as it is :p)

BMW Z4

Impreza STI (Hawk or Blobeye only, don't like the hatch at all even having driven my dads one...competent but ugly as sin, and even my Fiesta manages to use better quality interior materials, its that bad)

Evo of some description (getting on a bit and running costs and insurance would have me worried)

£12k can really get you some awesome cars if you buy carefully, insurance would worry me on the Evos and Imprezas, myself at 26 with 4 years NCB I still get utterly lolworthy quotes though so be interested to see what they would cost you! Living in Wolverhampton doesn't help my insurance though :D
 
I look forward to when you buy a new car, and it turns out to be another supra but manual. :p

Or how about something Audi... :)
