Does anyone here have a UniFi G6 Instant camera?
I’m considering getting a couple to replace my Nest outdoor cameras but the bundled USB-C power cable isn’t long enough so I’ll need to buy some sort of extension and was wondering what the connection on the plug end was like.

Time has come to replace the ring cameras as quality isn't really up to today's standards and want to get away from the subscription model.
Ideally looking for POE cameras this time around as hearing of more burglaries using jammers, that tech is clearly becoming too cheap/accessible!.
Are Hikvision still the way to go? I had considered something like the Eufy 2C cameras however although you can wire them for power, you can't for a signal. Which is a shame since they still offer the motion detection.
Unifi are a bit out of my price range currently otherwise would be all over that.
Probably going to add 2 more cameras this time around since i'll be hiring a tower again.
Any suggestions for a decent POE cam that won't break the bank? Reolink are another option, any good in practice?

Reolink cameras are often recommended here. They are quite good value and they have motion detection. Some of their models also have colour night vision.
