The Kashmir executive one stulid mentioned is amazing, so comfy. Although they have doubled in price since I got mine :(

They've always been '£199' haven't they, they just do circles of OMG HALF PRICE OMG !!!

I would edit this as you are giving a different shop website.
Change it to Popular auction site

That doesn't matter unless you say, check out that graphics card on ebay.

If you say check out this book on amazon its fine, as its not overclockers main product.

If they started stocking books and chairs then maybe, until then though...

Why can't they make computer chairs as comfortable as car seats. Some car's I could sit in all day, not found a pc chair yet thats comfortable for more than a few hours gaming.

Thinking of buying one of these:

Think it was £80 or £90, from Costco. Found it comfortable when I went to sit on it :) Just need to make sure the dimensions are right to work for my high desk.

I just bought the Markus today, had £10 off voucher so £115.

I liked the high back which I can rest my head, most chairs are too low and you can't rest hour head or neck.

Just need to build it later.

I will go and try chairs to see which will be comfortable to me. As everyone likes something different ;]

Steelcase Leap from Ebay, sooo comfy :) . £125 ish

Markus aint bad used one for ages but a million miles away from the ergonomics of a real chair.

I managed to get a second hand steelcase leap on ebay for £100, it looks like new and I can honestly say its just about the best £100 I've ever spent.

We have a mix of herman miller aeron and mirra chairs in work and my steelcase leap is comfier than both imo.

Can either of you guys post pics / expand on this. Heard they're bombproof -- thinking about doing the same.

Got a Steelcase Leap from eBay yesterday for £60! Only used it for a few hours but it's so much more comfier than my previous Ikea one and I can already feel that my back is supported.

Is that one of the red fabric ones (+£48 postage), that came out of a bank? I've been looking at those. Good condition?

That's the one. I picked it up so just £60 for me. Some of them are a bit scruffy and I chose the best one I could find! :)

I'm not a chair expert but it's probably still worth it for £108 all-in.

Well I've gone from hating the Markus, to loving it, and back to hating it again. There's no way around it, it ****s my back up something chronic.

Make sure you live near enough to Ikea to be able to take it back if you end up not liking it (3 month no hassle refund I believe). I live just too far away to make it worthwhile.

Steelcase and Herman Miller are well worth looking at on auction sites. Brand new you're looking at £300+, but second hand or nearly new through office liquidations and so on you can get some real bargains.

What is apparent when you sit in one of those chairs isn't necessarily how instantly comfortable it is, but how you don't notice your chair at all after sitting on it for several hours. They're very ergonomic and designed to be sat in for extended periods.
