More than £100 is ridiculous to spend on a desk chair unless your fairly minted. All im seeing is some ikea tat and chairs 2 times or more the price. Keep on topic with the price range guys.

I'm in for a new chair myself at the same budget so some sensible and realistic suggestions would be nice.

I have been sitting in a Yamaha piano stool for the past 3 years, leaning against a radiator.

I can't wait to move back downstairs next month in the Markus :p

Having owned one for a few months, a second hand Steelcase Leap, as already suggested, in good nick, is an absolute steal for under £100.

Really pleased with my Markeus, I work from home so spend a lot of time in it. Had it a year. Still firm and comfy

I had seen this as a cheap make do option until i can get something better.

I have a similar one to this and I'm dumping it as it messing me up. If you intend to sit it in for anything length of time then the tilt ability will eventually ruin you. Having too arch your neck or lean slightly forward to balance the weight so it doesn't tilt. screws your posture. (I know they have a lock handle but they all seem to lock slightly tilted back)

If your sitting them for a few hours tops, there fine.

I also work from home, how long do you spend in the chair. Do you think you could handle 10-12hrs in it?
Also does it lean back? I want one that is locked so my back never moves.

Iv found a steelcase leap green on popular auction sitefor 85 + 15 delivery which makes a solid 100.
But still thinking of waiting for prices to go down on chasmir from staples.

+1 for the Markus. I had it for about 3 years and it was comfy, stable and most importantly was good for my bad back. I miss it :( using a piece of junk I got from a flea market now.
