Spec me a dog

If it helps.... any time I see someone with a pit bull, rotweiler, bull mastiff or any of those "hard" dogs... then I think what a ned (chav to the English) ******, what's he trying to compensate for.

I don't think I'm alone in thinking that, either.

Mastiff's are the softest dogs ever. Pitbulls and Staffies are the ones I try to avoid. Rotwielers are fantastic guard dogs and great around kids and things, as long as you bring them up correctly.

On a side note I really wish they introduced dog licenses where only fit and proper owners were allowed to own them.

It doesn't matter what the dogs are like, it's the reputation they have. In most cases they're bought because they're "hard". So people see someone with one of them and make an assumption.

The thing with Staffs is that it's easy to go on their reputation but once you've had one or been around one for a long period of time you can truly appreciate what lovely dogs they are.

That fits the following, or the majority of them

  • Doesn't grow too big

  • Doesn't mind living with a cat

  • and is cute

Please don't get a Dog, or a Cat or anything you may need to be responsible for if you have to ask on an internet Forum and those are the only criteria of owning a Pet are. Stick to Goldfish or preferably Tomato Plants.
