I was including the engine, if I had an e36 as a track car, I'd have a spare engine, given the price of a 6-pot lump.
With 3 of you doing it, no reason why the engine couldn't be swapped in a few hours.
At the side of the track ?

If need be. Managed it on a driveway.
Can I suggest a R33 GTS-T, I just happen to know where you could get one bang on your budget.

I think your something I can't say or I'll be banned. You ALWAYS have to argue against me. Not just in this thread.I think you are a bit paranoid too.
I think you are a bit paranoid too, I'm not doubting you changed an engine in a driveway. Used to take me a weekend to change an engine on my Rover back in the day
tell me more my Fife based friend(Rosyth boy here)
I'm currently thinking of selling mine and I’d be looking for about £2000 ono.
The car is in pretty much mint condition and has only covered 64,000 miles.
The reason I’m getting rid is that the speedo and rev counter don’t work, the moron I bought it from tried to fit a dial kit from fleabay and put a screw driver through the back of the dash.
It has just been serviced and MOT which it sailed through.
It is regularly parked in the Sky car park near Rosyth.
where u from m8?
