spec me a fast nail <1500

LOL what? I never have understood your attitude towards me.

"OMG, can't let someone else be "better" than me, must try and ridicule"

We have witnesses, it was done, so shut it unless you fancy being constructive.

Come on- there is no way you take a car to a track day with a spare engine ready and all the stuff to do it.

You take it home and do it there where you can fix it properly. Its not a rally stage!

I think you are a bit paranoid too, I'm not doubting you changed an engine in a driveway. Used to take me a weekend to change an engine on my Rover back in the day

I think your something I can't say or I'll be banned. You ALWAYS have to argue against me. Not just in this thread.

You tried a 6-pot 3-series? The engine bay has that much room to move in, its really REALLY simple.

I have more things to do than pick on you. All I was doing was agreeing with Fox's point, so let me get this right. Every track day you are going to do in your bimmer you are going to take a spare engine with you?

Most tracks wont let you leave a dead car there

If you can't deal with responses from stuff you post on the internet then it's not my problem

tell me more my Fife based friend(Rosyth boy here)

I'm currently thinking of selling mine and I’d be looking for about £2000 ono.

The car is in pretty much mint condition and has only covered 64,000 miles.

The reason I’m getting rid is that the speedo and rev counter don’t work, the moron I bought it from tried to fit a dial kit from fleabay and put a screw driver through the back of the dash.

It has just been serviced and MOT which it sailed through.

It is regularly parked in the Sky car park near Rosyth.

we used to change engines in the old mk2 XR2's in about an hour and a half, easy enough if theres a few pairs of hands ;)

dont see why if you had the means to keep a spare lump at a track day venue with you you wouldnt take it, i mean you could even just rob it for bits during the day if needed :)
