Spec me a game for work trips

I will be installing many of these suggestions ready for the next trip so thank you very much for all the input!

another vote for rimworld
also stardew valley, divinity original sin 2, slay the spire, maybe path of exile?

Only play Rimworld if you want to skip those evenings with friends, get no sleep, be late for work and then get sacked.

Seriously though, it's the first game I've played in 10+ years that kept me up until 4am.

Did you make your trip or did you play rimworld and are currently engrossed in trying to decide which colonist needs an unnecessary bionic limb replacement or whether another colonist could better utilise their kidneys, and what the most efficient method of farming insects to provide food and a welcoming committee for raiders simultaneously is?

I'm expecting a reply along the lines of, "bought Rimworld, thought I'd give it ago the night before my flight. Stayed up all night, missed my flight. Played again the next day, ignored all my calls from the office. Wife has since left me and I'm just about to fend off another raid and hoping to catch some of the raiders to add to my human leather collection".

Haha, sorry to disappoint but I don't fly out again until a few weeks time.

I am going to refrain from installing Rimworld until absolutely necessary. It sounds dangerous!
