I have all the Civilisation games so some thing like that, or same idea, different gameplay, where there's a big map of the world and you can kill everyone.
I don't mind if it's really 2D, I just want something with some really deep strategy, politics, and some really clever AI. Anything 3D or animated is a bonus. Also the more modern the better.
wahts that space one where games take like 9 hours at least online but i think its quite strategical and they made a sped up versino where you cna actually complete games in like 4 hours lmao!
Erm, there aren't much ''conquer earth'' games like that, you could try space games though, things like:
Space Empires IV & V
Star Trek: Birth of the Federation
Sins of a Solar Empire
Galactic Civilizations II
etc...
I seem to live SE IV myself but oddly most people don't really like or know it.
BotF is perfect, if it works... Unfortunately you may need to fiddle with it to play it in xp and or vista, it has a memory leak bug killing performance, and it has regular crashes. But online it's still awesome with a mate. Galciv 2 was good iirc but a but standard and it has no mp . Sins is great and I don't know why I stopped playing it, I guess I'll have to play it again .
TBH space game's don't appeal, I'm after a game which either spans from x time period to 20th/early 21st century, or just 20th or 21st century, World war game are fine i guess, will have a look through some of the suggestions
Combat in the 1800s in Europe. 'Civilised' Warfare.
Battalions of men with muskets, firing in ranks.
Something like 36,000 troops at once if you get that far.
Really hard and requires serious, serious thinking.
Iirc, you do have a world map, and on the harder difficulties, it is pretty insane
It is beautifully made and it does have a really nice map editor. it's isometric, and there is a good amount of detail.
