you think you got problems with MSI , even though your machine is faultless as your problem is your pride . any way if you go Auros just be prepard to have scan lines on screen and very bad cooling and over heating issues .
Hi killswitch73,
With respect, the 120Hz 17" panels that have been reported with "striping" are industry wide, affecting all brands, not just AORUS.
There is a degree of tolerance with the panels, and the supplier is working on improving this so "everyone" is happy.
At AORUS we pride ourselves on keeping our customers happy, especially if they feel that the quality isn't what they expected.
Specifically with the 120Hz stripping issue - we are offering any customer who has a model with the 120Hz panel, and reports "unacceptable" level of stripping (subjective we know) that we will take the unit back and switch to another specification of panel (FHD, WQHD+) at no cost to the end user. We believe this to be the best and fairest solution for our customers.
Regarding heat - our units are obviously high performance, in stylish
slim chassis, so cooling is a challenge - however we meet the challenge head on and our units cool and keep components working at optimum levels, within manufactures specified tolerances....
As an analogy we use regularly - would you hear of high performance super car owner complaining that "the engine gets hot when I put my foot down, its noisier than my wife's "about town run around", "I only get "X" MPG and I can't fit a pushchair and golf clubs in the boot"?? NO, we don't think so.
But in our market segment we clearly get this type of feedback all the time, heat, fan noise, battery life etc
Our brand has focussed on delivering a stylish, slim and therefore truly mobile solution for performance users and gamers - and yes we accept our product wont appeal to everyone, but we are confident it does appeal to those who are looking for something a bit more niche in the market.
Anyone can turn a laptop into a desktop.
Our challenge was to turn a desktop into a laptop.
Regards,
Team AORUS
