Spec me a gaming laptop £2-2.5k

Hope this machine lives up to your expectations.

If you dont mind would you post some pictures and first thoughts.

Only reason I purchased my MSI over one of these was because I couldn't find much feedback on them at the time.

I very nearly bought one so very close and if i do have trouble with this GT73vr Titan from now until 31st December it will go back and i will get the top end Aorus . it looks so sleek and sexy and slim . the MSI is good though but with its problems due to driver issues . screen is stunning on msi .

Got the GT73VR 6RF -35 and loving it though the fan's can be annoying

Just for comparisons sake, this is my GT73VR score;

I'm happy to have a slightly lower score (~200 pts) for something I can carry around in one hand, and not suffer the issues some of the GT73VR/GT72VR owners have been having. :)

Screw you guys :p

I get excited hitting just short of 13,000 :D

There is something amiss here Andr3w. My AORUS is thinner than your machine you should be getting well over 14k.

I was about to pull the trigger on the Aorus X7 DT v6 - but after seeing the 120Hz screen issues I just can't do it anymore :/

Real shame, as it looks like the best 17" gaming laptop around at the moment, in terms of specs, aesthetics and heat management. Hoping the panel manufacturer can do some 'magic' but I'm assuming it's not really fixable.

You have a better cpu!!

Have you tried that laptop with any games yet?

Would be really interested to know if it throttles under load.

My MSI may be going back to really having to consider alternatives.

Also what power in the PSU. 230 or 330w?

I'm looking for a transportable and reliable machine that's worth the £. does this fit the bill?
