Hi guys,

I know i should probably get advice on fitness forums but hey, i like this place.

I'm 6ft2 and 14st and I'm looking to tone up a bit. Been doing running for about 4 months and I've only lost about 2lbs lol. And I've been reading that to lose weight it's better to do high intensity training with weights to lose weight and tone up. What sort of exercises should i do and how long.
I work at a school where i have access to a multi gym and running, rowing, cycling machines. And can use for about 90 min after i finish work.

Any advice will be great.

I'll also lay off the cakes and biscuits.

Cheers for the reading.
Looking at that i should spread my meals out more. I only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and don't really ever snack. Not a fan of mixed nuts etc but been pondering about those graze boxes. Opinions?

If you prefer to eat 3 meals and can get all your required nutrition into them then stick with 3 meals theres not really any need to go for the whole splitting your meals down into a million little snacks throughout the day.
If you don't snack now then don't start, if you're trying to trim the fat then any temptation to snack can easily push you over your kcals for the day.

If your happy to spend the money the graze boxes are fine. Although you can put the same kind of thing together for a quarter of the price, just takes a little effort.
