Psycho Sonny is right, the best is Concept 2 for rowers but they're not cheap by any stretch. If you are willing to get a refurbished one directly from them then it's around £750 but should last a long time. There are other places that sell secondhand models so you should be able to find it a bit cheaper or maybe if there's a gym near you closing down that might be worth a look.
that is also a model C, there is now a model D, E and Dynamic.
btw I'm not too bothered about all of that computer stuff
it comes down to this
* good built quality
* something that will last a while
so like working out how many miles u done etc isn't that important
ebay - type in concept 2 (within 50 miles distance) and buy any one
hope you have a van or access to one.
shista good point
this thing will be pretty big
I've looked on gum tree cheapest is about £600
I just got back from my gym
they have concept 2 machines
they is massive though lol
how about a bike?
exercise bike
why do you want one?
can you guys not buy a skipping rope for £5
skipping isn't practical for the old - due to bad knees/joints etc plus it is bloody difficult even I can't skip and that is saying something lol
I would not have minded a rower but maybe it's too big for the place and an exercise bike will be the better option
