My home team is Crystal Palace (that is where I am from) but for the last 25 years or so I have cheered on Rangers as my "Scottish Team"

With the current attitude of the SFA and also the majority of those associated with the club I don't feel I can support them any longer.

I need to find a new club in Scotland to look out for. I don't want to associate with any club that is associated with anything really other than football. Celtic are out as are Hibs & Hearts.

As a Palace fan I am not a glory hunter so open to all sort of suggestions.

What sort of things do Dundee Utd have in their favour?

At the moment there is something drawing me towards St. Johnstone.

Recently had this dilemma as a rangers fan

Going to take my boy along to firhill this season

Falkirk have a decent footballing philosophy.

If you want to avoid teams with similar financial history to Rangers, ignore Dundee, Motherwell and Livingston :p

If you are looking at SPL teams, Ross County are the team for you.

Does it have to be a SPL team?

What about Cowdenbeath?
or

Berwick scotland's "english" team.

Ayr United?

Seems you have an issue with lies/corruption and Ayr United's nickname is "The Honest Men". They were relegated last season so not a great team but I don't suppose that matters :)

May I suggest St Mirren? We gave you Andy Dorman and although it didnt work out for him, he's a club legend up here.

Our new away strip is black with a red stripe, like a reverse palace strip, a small club affected mostly by sitting in the shadows of the old firm, crowds of 4-5000 but an attacking flair filled team.

To be honest any of the provincial clubs are a safe bet, I always liked Dundee Utd as a kid just cos I liked the strips.
