Spec me a Scottish team

I had plenty of Celtic supporters telling me to "F off back to England" when I lived in Ireland. I guess it was Celtic fans who got me cheering Rangers.

Couldnt have been they are not like that at all  Must have been other fans pretending to be celtic fans. ;)

Deny, deflect, deny. It's the Rangers way.

I just don't understand how any Catholic can support a team where your fellow supporters are claiming to be up to their knees in your blood.

Maybe because I have no interest in any of that carry on and am only interested in the football?

But if you have no interest, why support Rangers in the first place?

I had no interest in the non football ****.

I supported them as I liked a lot of the players they had at the time. This was during the Souness years and they had a lot of top English players. Terry Butcher, Trevor Steven, Gary Stevens, Mark Hateley and the like. These were England internationals. As an England fan I simply followed the team that had more England internationals in it.

McMav seems to be claiming that Rangers and it's supporters are only interseted in football and not the bile you commonly see and here at Ibrox. (Oh wait, that'll be those pesky Chelsea\Celtic supporters at it again, in disguise, in Rangers tops).

I also thought you weren't a glory hunter? Having those players in their team (on the back of large bank loans and dodgy contracts) almost certainly meant the trophy was heading to Ibrox.

Alloa Athletic! my local club. I use to support one of the large teams but this little club does tons of the local kids and did well last season :)
