Spec me a spread to put on toast in the mornings

no its not, what makes it better?

its may be better than some of the varieties and brands but not all of them, peanut butter is a simple product and the differences between them are minimal at best.

i buy the natural organic stuff from asda and its like 100% peanuts or thereabouts, myprotein's stuff is like double/triple the price in comparison

http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/peanut-butter - 1kg as well.

If you've got an asda near by they've got whole earth organic pb on offer at £1.50 a tub which works out a fair bit cheaper once you add postage to the MP stuff

this is the stuff i use.

asda is cheaper and more convenient to buy from, also some people stick there peanut butter in the fridge, to keep it fresh once opened, imagine having a 1kg tub in there.

so i still dont see the point in buying myprotein's offering.

if you go for asda smart price stuff, its less than £2 per kg, even though it aint as healthy as the others, it aint far off. the difference is negligible.

asda also do a reduced fat peanut butter too, for an even healthier option than any of the above at less than £3 for 1kg.

Wow, holy over reaction batman. Besides, he's not wrong - it does look like diarrhea and that is how you spell it :p There's simply two differring yet correct ways of spelling it!

I dont know what he said, but to be that offended by it to say something bad enough to get it deleted and a suspension, im assuming he is connected with the company in some way, otherwise i have no idea why he would get so offended.

anyway does anyone know the difference between that nut paste and peanut butter? apart from the fact it looks like diarrhea? it just looks like they have added water to it or something

Off topic but did you know that all bananas are (very slightly) radioactive due to containing potassium-40?

The Banana Equivalent Dose can even used as a means of comparing radiation exposure:

Someone ought to tell Ray Comfort. It's God's fault.

Think I'll keep eating them though as according to that article the net effect is zero. :)

lol as if i'm connected to that nut company - i simply recommeded it as the products are of a high quality, and cheap - and you shot it down with a childish comparison to loose bowel matter - THANKS A LOT BIG MAN

Peanut Butter and Nutella is awesome but can be a bit dry, jam is good as it really cuts through the pb. Or how about peanut butter and mashed up banana in a sandwich/toast, surprisingly good and healthy too.

I'm liking the mackerel idea.

MP peanut butter is a bit more moist I find that your average shop bought variety.

I have peanut butter on toast regular at work, guys are saying it's fattening ? never thought it was myself ..

Even if it is it's tasty :)

it does have a lot of fat in it, but its good fat, the difference between lard and cod liver oil. lard is fat you want to avoid, cod liver oil isn't.

although eating peanut butter every other day and not working out is probably a bad thing, philadelphia light or something else may be a wiser choice for some people, so long as your active you dont need to worry.

nutella is fattening though, so its best to avoid that on a regular basis, it does taste great though.

There's nothing wrong with lard it's a natural unprocessed source of fats much like good quality butter, it's all about the diet as a whole.
