Not that they may not be worth it but I can't trust myself to damage the expensive shiny shiny.

This. I dropped said oneplus Nord CE3 Lite in the Loo at the baseball in June. Because I put a case on it, it survived but I may not be lucky next time. If it was a more expensive phone then I would have been cross, but this one not so much.
