dont bother with 16gb of Ram, i have it, dont notice the difference between 16 and 8 and all i do is game.

Are you going for a specific theme in colouring? if not i would recommend the Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87 instead of the MSI G45, a slightly better board for a bit less dosh, you could probably throw the extra money at another cooler, not sure if it will fit but Alpenfohn K2 cooler is stupidly cheap at the moment and one of the best air coolers you can buy.

, I looked at the sniper but was reading issues with the sound from it?

Few people i think have had a couple of issues but i think theres more people without issues with them, alternatively you could spend a little more and look at the Gigabyte Z87-OC, insanely good but i think probably a little overkill for what you want, would match the ram though haha

Okay the ill switch the msi board for the gigabyte g1.sniper z87 will this all be compatable?

Ordered everything last night but just had a thought, does the cooler master 212 come with thermal compound pre applied or do I need to buy some.

It comes with pre-applied paste (or a sachet of said paste).
