Would he want much throw if he is recording? Surely something with better flood would light the filming area and create less of a hot spot?
Mine came last week, seems a decent torch for the price.I noticed this torch previously mentioned with a super large throw on it, is -25% for a few days.

This might be considered a bit off-topic, but as it is mainly about torches, I thought I'd post it here. I want to do some photography while I am using my torch. That means I need a camera that can handle meager light to the sides with bright torchlight in the centre. I also want to vlog on the side. Does anyone have any suggestions for such a camera?
