TBH, I've tried quite a lot of torches and find that a 90º one tends to work best for most situations, particularly as they can be clipped or magnetically clamped to surfaces for when you need hands-free or when the red light features are necessary.Good question. I'm thinking a bit bigger than that, can't you read my mind?!
Also, a proper handheld, not a 90 degree head/chest torch.
So how big, exactly?
Are we talking an extra inch longer or greater girth, or are you more interested in a Maglite style?
Most dimensionally bigger torches don't offer much in the way of longer battery life and they tend to have similar brightness. Those that are brighter don't do it for long, as they automatically step down to avoid overheating. For that you're after the handheld spotlight style, which comes with a shoulder strap because it's that big.
I've found a few examples that might fit your spec - The red light requirement rules out a lot of other options, and some of these are discontinued, but for now we're just looking to see what sort of thing ticks the boxes...
