Reading though this, saw Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines. Remember seeing that as a game i always wanted to play. Is it any good as when i google it and look at the screenshots all i see is a lot of boob. The story there to go with all that?

Used to have great fun playing it at LANs, like you say, no-one had ever heard of it, but after 30 mins they were hooked

Chaser = 2003 (very underrated at time, long SP game with great story).

Best to get above from Steam as its cheap and they have fixed it for modern OS and widescreen, DISC version will have issues today.

Some above have named the good games but these are also less know/hidden gems but a bit newer:

Singularity = 2010

I was too busy being a PS2 fan boy ("Need4Speed undagrownd is da best game Eva yo") and masturbating in my room at this kinda era so I expect I missed some great games! Having picked up Allied Assault and No One Lives Forever 2 I would like to see if there are any more pc games that are as good as these from around this time!

TBF the undergrounds were the best NFS games ever, I want to have free roam and big rims on my cars again with neons just like underground 2
