Right I've finally decided i should properly exercise more, so today i went to dodge ball and completely ****ed up my shoulder, popped out and stuck in place every time I tried to throw the ball( right shoulder) and i really hate football, so do any of you know a sport/exercise can do that doesn't need my right arm (I'm right handed), an isn't football.

I do like running don't really fee comfortable running round Manchester.

Sorry i this is overly complicated or stupid, but would like to know what excerise i could do (i am rather skinny and lazy so wan to do something before this affects my health)

Possibly wonder over to the sports forum for some answers, there's plenty of good suggestions in there. I'd say running is a good bet though, most other sports that come to mind require your arms...

try walking back to your house from work or uni if its a reasonable distance, set yourself a time, might not be very effective but if could be a start

it somewhere between half a mile to a mile to uni and i walk that every day, sadly i wanted to build my shoulders/arms up, but to day proved that is going to be a serious problem for me, I'm trying to get into the doctors for the weekend but it seams many gp's don't have many slots then so it's a bit difficult.

*didn't realise there was a sports section could a mod move this please?

So I'm guessing this whole exercise thing is a little new to you then...

Sports forum is best place. You say you walk to uni, surely there is a gym there?
well there's a uni run gym don't know how much it costs but since my shoulder pops out (and it's insanely painful when it does) when ever i try and do a fast movement ie throwing a ball with it, i wasn't sure how anything in a gym Weight lifting etc would be k with it, don't fancy risking any damage to my shoulder, and yes excerise is new to me, but I'm not fat, the BMI says I'm medically under weight because i don't eat mush so don't weight a lot, some times i go a full day or 2 without eating but still don't feel hungry, but i don't think this is healthy so wan to start doing something other than walking, don't really fancy running/jogging on my own around Manchester ether as I'd feel a tit.

Thats just totally idiotic, you need to fuel your body constantly with energy. Don't do such a thing again.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you just want to be fitter, or would you prefer more bulk?

what's your target? just to get fit? since ** shoulder's bad u could always relying on lower body exercises, such as jogging or station bike. if you dont like people starring at you for jogging then join gym. uni gym tend to be mega cheap anyways.

*update* also eat more protein :D

I know it's idiotic that's why i want to change it, but some days i just never feel hungry, and so don;t eat then the next day think "wtf where you doing you complete ****ing moron* I'm not too bothered about being fit, as when motivate d properly i can run far and fast (used to be cross country runner) but just want something to make me feel hungry, and to make me ate, cause if i don't feel hungry i just don' eat and I know this is risky for my health.

*edit: ty for the move*

If you don't feel comfortable running around Manchester (I'm assuming you mean because there are lots of people about ) then why not try getting up early in the morning when it isn't busy?

Thats a good idea.

You are usually up from 12am onwards so you could go like 4am if you wanted to Tefal.
