Spec me some wheels under £500

A couple of developments today, firstly I took UTmaniacs advice and bought the last 172.5mm 4iiii, secondly my wife half suggested getting a new bike instead of upgrading my old one which is really all the encouragement I need so now I’m looking for the best bike pref. Carbon, Ultegra with decent wheels and maybe even disc brakes if such a beast exists for around £1500

Also would a carbon bike maybe with Disc brakes be ok on a Tacx Neo direct trainer?

The wheels come with a set of pads included in the box and then after that they just look like swissstop blue.

Mega stopping power wet or dry, without having to have a disc brake bike. Win win.

Hmm maybe I'll ponder that and read up on them a little. I do still love my roadbike but the frame is 10 years old and my groupo is 11 years old SRAM Force. On longer climbs at the end of longer days I look longingly at the 32T cassette my wife has with her SRAM Force 22...
