Spec-me

It's alright dude been an addict since I my parents first bought the old over-priced pakard bell.
It's very rare to find techies at my age.

Ok will swap out things. Just one question, your recommended card is pre overclocked couldn't I do that with afterburner. WHoops doesn't matter it's only £6 more and is tonnes better.
Ok I think there's not much point in changing some of the other things like the hdd.

Found this spec in another forum and put it in OCUK.What do you think?

nice spec, but it doesnt change the fact that the Sandy Bridge i5 2500k still destroys the Phenom II X6 in games.

A trusted source also says that an overclocked 1090t would leave 2500k in the dust.

doing what?

gaming?
video encoding?
web surfing?
watching hd moives?
in overclocking potential?

imo i5 > 1090t
i5 is pretty much > everything atm :P for gaming

How do you work that one out?

Maybe an overclocked 1090T and a stock 2500K.

In most things a stock 2500K beats a stock 1090T.

A 2500K will overclock further than a 1090T increasing the difference even further.

Intel, including sandybridge beasts phenom II because it is newer, meaning the core architecture will be newer, more up to date and be able to do more things optimized for today.

An "upgrade" to something which may not even be a match for Sandybridge.

I don't understand how you could say bulldozer won't be a match for sandybridge. Bulldozer is going to outperform almost every single CPU out to date apart from things such as the Xeon's in dual on an SR-2 or the 980X clocked to the teeth. Ivy bridge however will deal with this.
