EDIT: Added aftermarket cooler. And I hope you have a SATA HDD you can use for this? They're a bit pricey right now, but, if not, bring down the 2500k to i3 2100 or the graphics card to a 6850 and get yourself a 1TB.

Sacrafice the card for less, want more ram. There much be cheaper boards :S Dont want tht psu! And need HDD or SSD + Dvd drive

Righto. Added an XFX PSU instead. Added a Z68AP-D3. You can get cheaper boards, but I wouldn't recommend it, unless you don't care about Xfire/SLI in the future and the extra features. Added a 1tb HDD. Swapped GTX 560Ti for 6850. More RAM.

Note: There are cheaper RAM kits.
It will only save you £5 or so, but something to check out - The hyperX red limited edition is on offer IIRC...

I'm with sehcure on the RAM suggestion, sorry I missed it. Low profile and great price for 8Gb. Link
EDIT: Though the Corsair I specced are cheaper, or am I missing something?

I can possibly strip my current pc down for parts i did want to sell it but i don't have too. Ill try sell it then add the money to my budget

How long will that current card last me considering i don't play too many games (Portal 2, CSS, Skyrim and bf3) Is mainly all i play. My 9500GT Can handle them all fine. So i guess a estimated time this rig would last me?

How longs a piece of string;) the CPU can be overclocked to 4GHZ using the stock cooler, the 6870 is a very quick card if you are use to a 9500GT.

This rig is Crossfire ready,

Your 9500GT can handle BF3? Really?

I have pretty much the spec stulid posted and if you're willing to sacrifice some AA you can play BF3 on high settings to around 45-70 FPS in multiplayer.

How long it'll last? Well with that spec you can easily upgrade the graphics card to a better single slot solution at a later date. The CPU will be good enough for a good few years IMO.

Add a Gelid and overclock it to 4.5GHZ and still be around budget :)

Lol yeah 9500GT 512mb combined with 2GB Ram and a Triple core AMD :D Slow ish but it runs

I would say go with the single card 6870 spec. But I'm biased :p

Edit: remember you qualify for free shipping as well so you can factor back in the best part of £20 to your budget
