Spec Me

Have been working on this a litte. I have decided not to go with the pcie SSD for now but to double the memory to 32gb, does this cause any issues with the 5960k?. Just need the Fury X now guys :) and when is that monitor in stock? Also I would like some of those braided colour cables, do ocuk stock them? Am i missing anything? I already have 3 other SSD's I can use and I do have a soundcard in this system but I won't use it if it's not worth it.

What 5820K are you referring to ? You have the 5960X selected. Anyway the Ram will work fine if you need that much.

I would swap the SSD for something better. The V300 isn't that great if i remember correctly. I would go with the Samsung 850 EVO or Crucial BX100.

Yes Overclockers sell the Braided cables. You want the E-Series from the link below. The Red and Red/Black kits are out of stock ATM though.

Might be an idea to ask customer services regarding stock availability on the cables, monitor and cooler.

You should qualify for free shipping anyway so you can always order the items that are in stock.

Solid, but two RAM kits? do you really need 32GB and do you have a suitable 64bit OS for that much RAM as not all version of windows do support high amounts.

He probably doesn't need a 5960X either :D Anyway He posted above (#26) that He is using Windows 7 64 Ultimate so all is good if He does want 32GB.

The CPU is complete over kill, as you aren't even going to water cool proper.

The RAM would also be a waste of money, basically you're throwing money to the wind, unless you're doing some serious work that can utilize it. Buy what you need, no game will need 32gig of RAM.

Sound card is overkill, on board sound will be decent, save your dosh.

Just been told from the fiji thread my hx850 would be enough for PSU so think I will reuse that will new cables to match the case.

Yeah you can reuse the HX850. According to Cablemod website the Corsair C-Series are compatible. I don't know how it will work out though, as that psu is only semi modular.

You could go with Silverstone extension cables as the psu in the Primo is hidden anyway.

This gives you a 24 pin atx, 8 pin cpu and 2 x 6+2 pci-e extension cables in red/black

YOUR BASKET
1 x Silverstone Cable Extension Value Bundle - Black & Red £13.16
- 1 x Silverstone PCI 8-Pin to 6 +2- pin PCIe Cable 25 cm - Black / Red £4.24
- 1 x No Molex to SATA Adapter Required £0.00
- 1 x Silverstone PCI 8-Pin to 6 +2- pin PCIe Cable 25 cm - Black / Red £4.24
Total : £31.24 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).
