Spec Me

CPUs and boards you would imagine are released together.

More RAM sticks puts more strain on the memory controller so yeah the old rule of thumb is that it will reduce overclocking a bit.

Quick update with this, have been chopping and changing and I still have to add a monitor/keyboard/mouse/SSD's to this but quite happy with what I have picked so far. Decided to reuse my Corsair HX850 and buy new cablemod cables, also have chosen some Sata bit fenix braided and some fan extensions in red. If I am missing something else please tell me guys.

I have heard a lot of good reports about the Triton from this forum and I thought it would look decent. I was going to originally go with a Corsair H110i gt. If you think the Triton isn't good enough Stulid I will go back to that and I appreciate your help. And I am glad I found out about the cables in time. I am just going to buy a new PSU instead.

For now (may change the cooler). Please confirm this is all ok together.

I think you would be better off with white LED fans and a white LED strip

RED LEDs will wash the colours out most likely

The G1 980Ti isn't worth £100 over something like the Zotac AMP or EVGA ACX to be honest (imo), however good the G1 is the AMP is also good (likely not as good as G1 but it's not a "cheapo" card)

Keep the G1 as its the best;) Its fully custom including the PCB and has a 7 colour LED so you can make it match the red.

Also leave the red fans etc, it will be fine, plus the board is backlight red and the heatsink with the eye should also illuminate. White will just wash out the red and possibly end up pink:D

Fair enough, G1 is still an excellent card

I wouldn't keep the red fans, especially if you got some LEDs. White LEDs are best to show off the system as it doesn't wash out colours and everything doesn't look red

For future custom WC, I recommend possibly OcUK Silverstone WC fans, or LED ones then check out the SP120 white LED

Bitfenix/NZXT LED strips are one's to look at, or for more the RGB NZXT Hue
