I would be grateful if someone could make a spec for me;

~£600-700

I need pritty much everything new except mouse/keyboard, screen and sound (i have usb headset)

I am a high gamer so would like something which is powerful for FPS and i MIGHT get a new keyboard/mouse so if anyone could recommend ~£40 keyboard/mouse set for gaming.

I would like the system to be very powerful and be long lasting

I think you should not go 939 as it isn't future proof in the slightest. Go AM2 or Conroe. Get a decent PSU. I'm under the impression that the PSU in that case won't be good enough, but I maybe wrong. Think I read that in another thread sometime ago.
 
It's an antec psu so it'll be fine.

Agreed on AM2 though, the only reason I'm going to be buying a 939 X2 is because I have DDR lying around and I'm certainly not spending out on RAM again.
 
I was thinking about going AM2 over 939 but didn't know which would fit it better, however as ive just purchased an ipod, im now needing a spec for ~500-550£, ill play around with ideas and see what you guys think

Also, to cut back slightly, and because i have a pritty much brand new 120GB HD i was thinking of just buying a small HD and use the 120GB with the new one, maybe 80 or another 120GB HD. Although im not sure if its a SATA or IDE HD, in my disk monitor it says its an ATA-6 Device, anyone clarify anything about this for me?

that CPU cooler won't work with an AMD chip. The popular fan choice by overclockers is normally the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU for around the same price. Retail CPUs come with a fan just incase you didn't know.

You should try and get an 1800XT graphics card into your spec if you play a lot of games. The pentium conroe chips will outperform AMD chips and overclock really well.
