Time to invest in a new country.
It's not like speeding on motorways is particularly a wise thing to do even today.
I think the police really have more important things to be doing.
.
After all it's not as though they are the safest roads in our road network...err...hang on...

Yeah they are but they're also the most likely type of road where a traffic cop will nick you for speeding![]()
Don't they already have these on the outskirts of Nottingham, I'm sure they've been there years and I've never seen any roadworks round there? It was only a matter of time I guess.
I noticed more going up on the M42 last week around the M6 junction, although these are probably for the never ending roadworks that take place round here.
As long as they don't put them on back roads and other minor routes I don't care. It's not like speeding on motorways is particularly a wise thing to do even today.
Remains to be seen whether they will allow the unofficial 80mph limit on motorways though.
Sigh.
I can see a time in the not too distant future when there is 100% specs coverage of the entire road network.

Not unless you're doing ~95+, from what I've seen they generally don't pull anyone until they reach that sort of speed and leave people doing 80-85 alone, unless they're driving like tools anyway.
Exactly and that's my question. Will these Specs 3 cameras be setup to look for what a traffic cop looks for currently? Or will they be set to look for 70mph + 10% + 2mph...
