Why has the title changed to 'Specsavers'
It wasn't me, but it's because we (the admin team) get really really really really really bored of people using "spec me a XXXX", so we have a bit of fun with the title every time. It's nowt personal ;)

LOL, fair enough :D

I only ever really post in Motors and I can't say I've seen it in here that much.

I ran Toyo T1-S in 16 and 18 form on my Scooby and they were brilliant. Lasted ages and gave good wet and dry grip. I ran Michelin Pilot Sport SP2s on my 330d and they were good until I got a nick in the side-wall which meant I went to Dunlop SP9000. They were a lot cheaper than the SP2s but offered a simliar amount of grip. Might be worth a look if they do them in you size if you don't fancy the Toyos.

I think you are the first to really notice that something was happening :D most of the time no one has said anything

LOL, maybe I don't need to go to specsavers then ;)

i've been running the toyos on my car and they have been as good as the f1, although there begining to get slightly slippy on the rear, have to check the tread & pressure i think....

tbh its all abou the sticky stuff on the front and the ditchfinders on the rear :D

I run F1s on my car with pretty much the same sizes. With Merlins experiences, perhaps 4WD cars chew through tyres in a different way as Ive had over 10k miles from my F1s and they still have a good amount of meat on them. I give the car quite a bit of stick, with the back end spinning up round corners but the shoulders are still fine

The sidewalls are quite soft but I add a few extra psi in them. One thing I have found with them is that they seem to tram line quite badly but perhaps its also the stiffer ARBs I put on the car that might affect it.
