Speechless and stunned

50 cent and particularly Eminem both produce their own music, Eminem plays lots of instruments and makes truely amazing tracks, he produces almost all of his own **** and is more talented than any men with long hair.

Thats what you call a Producer, Not a band.

Im Pretty sure Paul Van Dyke does a lot of his own music. Does that make him a band? :p

I thought you were saying 50cent and Eminem were bands?

I wasnt saying Paul Van Dyke was one, i was just using him as an example :)

Violent J you have a pretty narrow minded view on alternate music to that of rap, without "long haired" musicians pushing the boundaries there would doubtless be no modern evolution of bands and artists. Just because the other music isnt to your taste doesnt make it any less enjoyable to vast majority of people. I consider myself fortunate to be able to enjoy all genres of music and as a result I can be quite reflective.

Dont be so quick to criticise other people instead just acknowlede that everyone has different tastes, much like your choice of car, it would be a pretty boring (and slow) world if we all drove micras......

I'll see your Eminememem and raise you a Quo. Let's see what Marshal is doing in 20 years (apart from the coke of course ;))

Good work - I'm quite varied in my taste, like Will Gill says, it allows me to be reflective. I'm currently in the process of promoting a band as I've not long been appointed their manager \o/ (little bit of sideline work ;) ) and the recent recordings have just been mastered. They sound sensational, so I can really see them going somewhere this time.

50 cent is one of the worst rappers I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. More recent rap seems to be entirely about poor looped samples from cheese records with pitiful lyrics. Old school snoop dogg, tupac and most of the death row back catalogue from the early 90's urinates on ol' 50's pathetic live performances.

However, credit goes to eminem for promoting that talent void to become one of the biggest 'rap' stars on the planet. No mean feat considering what he was working with...

50 cent is a disgrace to talented rappers.

I also enjoy all genres, rap, maybe less so, but there are some artists I enjoy, old school snoop, nas, mobb deep etcetera.

To call eminem more talented than "long haired freaks" (can't remember exactly :() is pretty narrow minded, and impossible to judge :/
