Got some albums somewhere as well but with a different singer that the single.

Cringeworthy cover nowadays, but may have to dust off the record deck and fire it up.
.........good god almighty.

They admit it is all tongue in cheek but just love playing rock and entertaining the fans. Everyone is happy. Tigertailz to take the world by storm !!!! We demand it !!!!

I like all sorts of music and Eminem/50 cent are far from what I would consider to be talented. I'll tell you what though, you're one hell of a comedian.
Don't let your musical taste let you become biased against talent. Both of them, particuarly the former, have a HUGE amount of talent. Writing a rap which flows is very difficult. Have you tried? For an example take the lyrics to the second verse of Eminem's 'The Way I Am' (listen to the song). Tell me that isn't talented.

Just because it doesn't have 'real' musical instruments doesn't void a rap song of talent. Open your mind.

50 cent is a disgrace to talented rappers.
Possibly the greatest truism in this thread. For some reason he seems to think that trying to rap with your mouth closed is some sort of achievement. Nnnngggggghhhh.

Give me Slug/Abdominal/Del/mc chris/Jesse D/Ill Bill any day of the week; guys who actually know how to master the art of intelligent rap, as opposed to just slurring their way through some synthed big band strings lazily laid over the top of the world's biggest kick and snare pairing.

So true. Except, I'd say Sole/Aesop Rock/Atmosphere/Brother Ali/Eyedea/Bluprint/Sage Francis.

Did you just 'void' the first 6 words of my post?

You are wrong, 50 Cent has no tallent other than surviving drivebys

IMO the only time 50 cent and Eminem should be mentioned in the same sentance (other than this one), is:

The most defineable mistake in Eminems career, was signing 50 cent and his even less tallented tag-a-longs. It is easily a greater **** up than assulting that night club bouncer, getting caught in possession of drugs, simulating drug taking on stage (and being forcable removed for said incident), getting involved with numirous slander cases, or marrying and devorcing his wife Kim twice. Employing 50 Cent out does all of those for career lows.

What a coincidence.
I did a gig yesterday in Nantwich and because we need a new drummer I made an announcement from the stage if there was anybody interested.
This bloke approached me at the interval and showed an interest. I asked him who he'd been with and said he was with a recording band called Heartless who had supported the likes of Tigertailz
I started laughing and told him about this thread. He then went through all their names but I forgot who he mentioned now.
He did mention one of the Tigertailz was a welder by trade.
Anyway, he lived 90 miles from Stoke and wasn't suitable.

Slug is the rapper in Atmosphere ;)

Eyedea, Aesop and Sage are all sick though, I agree.
I keep forgetting about that. I always think that Slug is that guy that's in the Sage Francis DVD a lot. Where he has the ryhme battle in a bedroom in Berlin with him. I think that might actually be Sole anyway...I think. I can't remember. I'll need to look out the DVD later and watch it before my girlfriend comes over, haha.

It#s probably not Slug thought and I'm just blatently talking out my ****.

Apparently, appologies. But I still think saying they both lack talent is a huge overkill no matter what your view on each artist.

You are right it is unfair to say eminem lacks tallent.

Even 50 cent has some tallent, I think he must be good orally pleasing record execs, thats how he got his record deal right?

Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) would make Eminem squeel like a piggy, there is no comparison.
And then Marty Friedman comes along, accompanied by Paul Gilbert, and they both unleash their Japanese riffs-o-doom.

Jari Maenpaa of Wintersun can come too.
He did absolutely everything, bar the drums on their debut. Some serious talent there.

Eminem is actually one of the few rappers I can stand. Actually has quite a bit of talent. And that's saying a lot, coming from a metalhead.

But Eminem has been marketed at AlTeRnAtIvE Kerrang kids for years; you'll often see his videos back to back with Linkin Park or Avril Lavigne, or whatever. He's deemed as more palatable and acceptable.

Listening to a bit of DZK at the moment. Narcotics anonymous, Not your average flow, Trance, and Psycho are absolutely fantastic.

Only just found this thread :o

Must say I absolutely love Tigertailz & have done since the 80's & still listen to there stuff today.

Saw them play Rock City at Nottingham in the 80's got totaly smashed as it was also my birthday, great night. :D

IMO they are one of the very best glam metal bands around they had/have quite a unique sound very heavy guitars but glam lyrics great combination.

Anyone got there new album Bezerk 2.0? I really love the song Dirty Needlez

Rayer can you get me the bands autographs?

Nige.
