it's making the driving of a performance car/bike in this country a foolhardy choice for the future.
very nearly miss a cyclist or kids crossing the road for the park.
So if ythey very nealy missed them does that mean they actually hit them?
Are there any ramifications setting speed cameras off on a push bike?
If we really wanted to make a reduction in KSI figures, we could just ban motorbikes, considering they make a a significantly disproportionate percentage of those killed and injured on the road. (Somewhere around 25% for a 1.8% traffic contributing)
I am not serious, of course, but it's just an example of looking at the problem realistically, we need to treat the causes of these problems, not just randomly and pointlessly lower speed limits which were not the problem in the first place...
Which particular "annoyances" had you in mind?...
There has to come a point where we accept that inevitably people crash and unfortunately die as a result of that, when will the annoyances stop.
I don't think the plan is the change the NSL to be 50mph for single carridgeways. It is to leave the NSL as it is but to change the limit on "most" single carridgeways to 50mph. This will require a lot of new signs.
[TW]Fox;13939802 said:Which is ridiculous as more than 50% of NSL roads are wide enough for barely one car and are 60mph limits when you cant do more than 30, yet its the proper open roads they keep putting 50 limits on...
